The 2025–2026 academic year will begin with the so-called first intensive week on Friday, October 3, and will end on Friday, October 10. Intensive weeks are those in which 50% of the classes for all subjects take place in person, when all full-time and part-time students are present at ETVOS, when all lecturers, both guest and regular, are also in Osijek, and when even those enrolled in the lifelong learning program wouldn’t want to miss being part of the ETVOS community. There will be six such weeks throughout the academic year:
However, while these weeks are academically intensive, their true intensity comes from the multitude of encounters between God’s children from all over the world, from countless spoken prayers, sung songs, shared readings of God’s Word, a variety of events such as concerts, exhibitions, book promotions, and public lectures that enrich the spirit—from shared coffees, shared meals, shared exhaustion, and shared renewal that sustains us until the next intensive week.
So mark these dates in your calendars and don’t miss out on experiencing the intensity at ETVOS.
During this first intensive week, we are thoroughly preparing a schedule of lectures across various theological disciplines, several public lectures, an evening concert of original music under the stars, a picnic for all ETVOS members, and a joint celebratory worship service at the Synagogue (EPC Radosne Vijesti) on Sunday, October 5.
