Miroslav Volf (ETVOS alumnus ’77), one of the most renowned theologians of our time, will deliver a series of lectures at the University of Aberdeen!
The Gifford Lectures were established by Adam Lord Gifford (1820–1887), a Scottish lawyer and judge, with the aim of promoting teaching and discussion on various theological topics, as well as issues in the fields of philosophy, ethics, and religion. Wright, Alfred North Whitehead, Paul Tillich, Etienne Gilson, Hannah Arendt, Richard Swinburne, Jaroslav Pelikan, and many others.
Dr. Volf will speak on the topic “Amor Mundi: God and the Character of Our Relationship to the World.” The lectures will take place over five days between May 12 and May 20, 2025. For more information, visit: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/dhpa/events/the-gifford-lectures/current-series/
