Today, we signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Academy of Arts and Culture, accompanied by a beautiful concert performed by young musicians, students of the Academy.
The performers were Karlo Čatić on the tamburitza, Martina Kuterovac on the piano, and Vanesa Iličić on the guitar. They presented compositions by Croatian composers Martin Raguž’s “Bagatela” and Dora Pejačević’s “Život cvijeća, op. 19 – Ruža”, arranged by Xhevdet Sahatxhija.
Our dean, Dr. Dalibor Kraljik, began by congratulating academician and fellow citizen Helena Sablić Tomić on all her past achievements and this most recent success. He emphasized that our two institutions are united by both the Word and art, which make us co-creators, co-makers of the “new,” offering us glimpses of perfection even while we are still in the darkness of this world. Speaking about AUKOS as a place where art and culture converge, Dean and Academician Helena Sablić Tomić expressed her gratitude and desire to continue the successfully initiated collaboration with our seminary, which will be further intensified in the new academic year.
