Enrollments and Scholarships for the New Academic Year!

Published: June 12, 2025

If you ask our students why they chose to study theology at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, you’ll hear reasons such as: biblical teaching, the approachability and openness of the lecturers, a strong sense of community, our beautiful and literature-rich library, accredited programs, and an accredited diploma.

Studying theology in Osijek prepares students not only for ministry in the church but also for active involvement in society and public life.

The Seminary offers two accredited programs—undergraduate and graduate. Within the undergraduate professional theology program, students can choose the Religious Pedagogy and Catechetics track if they wish to become trained catechists.

Classes are delivered through lectures, seminars, mentoring, and professional practice, and are taught by both local and international faculty.

Applicants must have completed four years of high school education. Transfers from other institutions or study programs are also possible under regulated conditions.

Accredited Studies

Our undergraduate professional theology program prepares students for roles such as pastors, preachers, religious teachers, evangelists, and missionaries, as well as for public service and societal engagement. Students study the Bible in its original languages, explore church history, Christian doctrines, and theological ethics—equipping them to apply their knowledge both in church and society. Graduates earn the professional title of Bachelor of Theology (bacc. theol.).

Our graduate professional theology program (Master’s level) offers students the opportunity to delve deeper into theological thought through historical, biblical, and systematic theology. Under the guidance of a mentor, students can specialize in areas aligned with their calling or relevant to their community. Graduates earn the professional title of Master of Theology (mag. theol.).
